BAKER STREET MAPThe self catering holiday accommodation offered in this central London (zone 1) area are studios, one & two bedroom flats on Balcombe St 4 minutes walk from Baker St tube station that were let since 1955 by word of mouth alone until the advent of the Internet. All have central heat, TV's and telephones and are comfortably furnished with kitchen/breakfast rooms where meals may be prepared and eaten. Bathrooms are all ensuite with showers & tubs. Modems can be used in all the flats and the only extra above the rates quoted below are for phone calls, if any. These short term rental flats do not have washer/dryers but there is a launderette just around the corner where you can get a service wash or do it yourself. There are many local shops in the area and truly excellent public transport to all parts of the city. Oxford St is a 15 minute walk away and Baker St tube and Marylebone Station are both less than 5 minutes away.
